A New Era of Opportunity - Vori is Changing
Sunsetting some Vori Ordering product lines
At Vori, our unwavering mission is to empower independent retailers by developing modern, usable, and effective technology that revolutionizes the way grocers operate.
We believe that small and medium-sized supermarkets deserve the opportunity to thrive in today’s grocery landscape, that's why we're deeply committed to prioritizing the completion of the comprehensive features within Vori's end-to-end operating system over the next several months. Vori’s new one-stop-shop platform is a combined POS + smart back office that is purpose-built for the modern independent retailer and serves as a futuristic alternative to ECRS, NCR Encor, and LOC.
Due to the large scope and ambition of Vori’s new total store solution, all our engineering and support resources are totally consumed by this effort. Therefore the change in our focus will impact your use of Vori today. For some Vori Ordering products, you can still use them indefinitely but expect there to be more bugs and issues as we discontinue proper technical maintenance in the meantime. Some other product lines we will be sunsetting completely over the coming months. Please read further to learn how you might be impacted.
Here’s what’s changing
Between May 20, 2023 and July 20, 2023, the following Vori tools and features will be sunset or will no longer receive customer support and software updates. We understand that changes can often be difficult and stressful, so we want to thank our customers for their patience while Vori continues its journey of transformation.
Products that will persist
Access and use of these products will continue
Vori Ordering App Customer support will be eliminated on May 20, 2023, and effectively immediately, software updates will no longer take place. This means bug fixes will no longer happen, support requests will not be answered, and Vori customer support will not provide assistance with uploading or maintaining vendor catalogs, order guides, or price changes. However, we welcome you to continue using the app as your access will be retained. Sign up to learn more about upgrading to the new Vori Ordering experience that will be embedded in Vori’s new operating system.
Vori Vendor Portal Customer support and software updates will cease on July 20, 2022. You can still use the Vori Vendor Portal after this date. However, after this date, bug fixes will no longer happen, support requests will not be answered, and Vori customer support will not provide assistance with uploading or maintaining vendor catalogs, order guides, or price changes.

Vori Web-Based Ordering aka Vori Market will be sunset and user access will be terminated on July 20, 2023. You can no longer use Vori Market after this date.
Vori Sales Rep App will be sunset and user access will be terminated on July 20, 2023. You can no longer use the Vori Sales Rep App after this date.
If your business needs an immediate replacement for order taking done via a sales representative, Vori will help you migrate to Pepper, the eCommerce solution for food distributors. Contact your Vori account manager or support@vori.com to get the migration process started.

Vori is going through a significant transformation to adapt to the growing demands of current and future Vori customers. We are building a modern, retailer-focused, end-to-end operating system to address the challenges that independent retailers face nationwide. As we go through this transition, you might have one or all of the below questions.
1. Why is Vori sunsetting and/or eliminating support from certain tools or features?
Vori's mission is to make usable and effective technology for independent retailers. To ensure we fulfill this mission, our engineering and operations teams will be completely focused on developing and implementing a modern grocery operating system. Our limited resources will be focused on building and deploying our new all-in-one POS solution for retailers, which means we have to adjust the level of investment into other areas of our business and product offering.
2. What is Vori building?
After significant research, testing, and collaboration with several dozen Vori customers, we’ve developed an end-to-end operating system for retailers to unite back-office and front-of-house technology under one roof. We expect this all-encompassing platform to significantly improve the profitability of our retailer customers’ businesses. Learn more about our vision for the future here.

4. When will Vori’s new ordering experience be available to me? And how can I get access to it?
The improved and supported version of Vori’s digital ordering experience will be embedded in Vori’s new modern operating system, which is being tested by a group of trusted early customers. The new ordering experience will of course come with dedicated Vori customer support, and will only be available to customers of Vori’s new operating system.
